York Fashion Week 2026
York Fashion Week is back again, and I was back behind the camera for a third year for part one of the 2026 events.
This time I covered two very different and amazing shows:
Pre Loved Designer Showcase - The Wardrobe Resell
Thursday evening was a more intimate one, held at Clarendon Fine Art York. The Wardrobe Resell hosted a pre loved designer showcase, focused on luxury pieces with a second life. Guests arrived to fizz, took their seats, and watched a curated runway of designer fashion, everything from statement pieces to more timeless staples.
There were also a few fashion talks woven in, which gave a bit more context around investment dressing and building a wardrobe that actually lasts. After the runway, the space opened up for private shopping. It felt relaxed, a bit more personal than your typical show, and nice to see people properly engaging with the pieces rather than just watching them go past.
The Indie Runway
Friday night was a complete switch up at York Museum Gardens.
The Indie Runway took over the gardens for an outdoor evening show, and it was easily one of the most ambitious setups I’ve seen at YFW. The biggest runway show York has seen yet. The sunset, nighttime, open air, huge crowd, and a strong line up of independent designers.
I was lucky to get backstage photos with some of our lovely models in their first look, before heading to the catwalk. Take a look below:
