A Dream Shoot in Marrakesh

This month I ticked off one of my big 2025 goals - shooting fashion and portraiture abroad. I spent time in beautiful Marrakesh with some model friends, creating some of my favourite ever photos in our terracotta villa and under golden Moroccan light.

Shooting my style, but abroad has been on my list for a while. New light, new colours, new energy.

We stayed in the most beautiful terracotta villa just outside the city, surrounded by palm trees, cactuses and that warm, dusty air that makes everything feel cinematic. This meant we had an amazing balance of lazy pool days and spontaneous shoots.

We shot in the pool, around our beautiful villa, and amongst the greenery when the light was soft and golden and the shadows fell just right. Honestly, the light in Marrakesh hits differently – warm, glowing and full of texture. It brought so much depth to the skin tones, colours and mood of the images.

Some of these are my favourite photos I’ve ever taken. There’s something about being away, surrounded by creative people, that opens you up a bit more. No plan, no pressure, just creating for the love of it.

I can’t wait to share more from this trip – it reminded me why I love what I do. Here’s to more shoots, more adventures, and chasing that golden light wherever it takes me next.
