A test shoot with Juan
Just before they headed back to London, I had the chance to do a fashion test with the effortlessly cool Juan, aka @_.juanderful, at Studio 44.
This one was stripped right back - minimal styling, no makeup, and that gorgeous head of curls taking centre stage. We shot mainly on the white set, then switched things up with my khaki backdrop for a bit of warmth and contrast. Both worked beautifully with Juan’s skin tone and that soft, natural light.
There’s something so striking about simplicity. No distractions, just raw expression and quiet confidence. Juan’s energy is calm but full of presence - the kind of person who gives a photo life without even trying.
